when I started online in 2002, I almost quite.I still wasn’t making any money online at this point and was exhausted from sleepless nights, both from raising a newborn and trying to learn about making trying to figure it out with little time was emotionally draining and very challenging.By setting small goals I was able to get momentum and not get overwhelmed by all the things I had to learn to be successful online.Momentum is like the law of compounding with investing.I had such little time, between shopping for baby items, to preparing the nursery and working a full-time job.Instead of getting my 3 money making sites on solid footing, I was jumping into niches that offered huge opportunity that I knew little about.I should have been focusing on creating documented processes that could be outsourced and guarantee long-term success of my 3 sites that were making me a good five figures a month.You need to treat your business serious just like when you go to your full-time job money online by finding a market with true money making potential, versus entering a low demand market that you are passionate about that has little money making opportunity.Just last month’s my affiliate commission was $7,432 from these three sites.My mindset was wrong and unfocused.I learned a valuable lesson that consistency and focus matters online.If your primary passion is a super small niche with little opportunity to make money, it doesn’t make sense focusing your energy on starting a business around it.By 2005, I had started jumping from niche to niche trying to make more money online.Not every change worked out as good as the above example.I’ll never forget the year of 20 This was the year I really became interested in how to make money online.Month after month nothing was happening even though I spent a ton of time writing excellent content.I came face to face with getting my own mindset and focus right in 20 This was 2 years after I started online and when I finally started making good income online.About three months into 2004, I was absolutely blown away that in March my income had continued to grow hitting $6,6 Every since 2004, I’ve been making a great living even have to find a highly profitable market and change your belief to become passionate about it.Fortunately for me as I saw my income begin to drop I realize I had to get my mindset right.To this day I never stop focusing on a site and move to another niche, until I have fully documented the business into repeatable processes that can be outsourced.I had finally found that opportunity where I could work a full-time job, and still achieve extraordinary income by starting a home business on my limited spare time.Then when I accomplish that I had gained enough momentum to start building traffic to my very ugly and basic website.I realized when I mastered this; I could then finally focus on growing my income in other niches.I could have gotten all sidetracked on graphic design and my life and income.But that experience helped me with my next two sites.My next goal was to make my first very ugly and basic website.That one change paid off hugely and I eventually saw results with the site ranking in Google and many of the articles I wrote driving traffic to the site.Getting Momentum It’s important when you begin a home business online that you set very small goals and let the small goals sum up to establish your momentum online.I was seeing 2 years of hard work payoff.Pick A Market In Demand With Good Profit Margins You’ll see a lot of people online tell you to follow your passion.I immediately began focusing on documenting the processes with my 3 sites.I can remember the feeling when I cracked the five figures a month income barrier.The market you pick might not be your primary passion in life.It’s easy to not write that next article and instead surf the net looking for ideas, but until you get serious about your time you won’t reach your full potential.I would have never achieved making a good living online without making changes to what I am doing.My time got even tighter.My overall plan was to eventually work at home by starting a high traffic money making website on the side.I needed processes that were well documented that I could outsource.You’ll start off slow but eventually over time lots of small successes help you gain momentum which sums up to make your rich.But one thing that always held me back from starting my own business was how to work a full-time job and find the time to start a business on the side.But on average changing and not quitting has worked better for me.Stop Looking For The Next Big Thing When you start working at home online, it’s easy to neglect working to surf forums and blogs looking for the next big thing.
Online Income Opportunity Old Domains
I have a business related niche that I want work on related to making residual income and I paid $200 for it.I thought I had it all figured out and was about to rank well and therefore make some good online income off of this puppy.Wanted to share this with you so you don’t do the same thing.I’m upset about my $2 Hopefully I can sell this domain since it’s a nice one but I won’t be able to use it for the online income opportunity that I was imagining unless I want to sit around for months waiting in the sandbox.What happens is even if your website is SEO optimized perfectly and you have some links pointing towards your site you may not get found for keyword searches until your site matures a bit and is permitted out of the infamous sandbox.Now if you buy a closeout or expired domain from this site you are fine and your purchased domain name will keep its age.After I saw this I called a friend of mine (an experience Internet marketer) and he told me “yeah if you buy an expired or closeout domain you are fine, but any other aged domain will get re-set”.What this means is that even though it was old it is treated by Google as new and therefore you can still hit the dreaded sandbox.Keywords in domain, short, nicely aged (6 years), and the list goes on.Have a story for you today about my online income opportunities quest and a big mistake I made today.
But what I learned is that if you buy a pre-owned domain off any of the other websites like Afternic, Network Solutions, etc then your new URL’s creation date will get re-set.Of course I’m really upset about it but as I’ve preached to you before I can’t let problems that pop up slow me down on my road to web wealth and generating a solid passive income.Well I was wrong and learned a valuable lesson about online business success.Today I went to check out the WHOIS info and I saw it says it was created in November 20 My heart jumped a beat.I’ve spoken about it before but just to review the Google sandbox can go into effect on all new domains under 1 year old.Well guys today I blew it.It was great.Now I’ve talked to you folks before that when wanting to get ranked in Google if you have a new domain name it can take a long time because of the “Sandbox”.Yes I learned from the mistake but it definitely cost me some of my hard earned income.Lessons learned folks.So as I’ve told you if you are in a rush to be found and start making online passive income with your website businesses and opportunities then you need to seek out pre-owned domains at the website FreshDrop.
